Founded in 1942, the Middlesex Fire Department's mission is to provide fire protection, rescue, disaster and emergency medical first response services to our operating territory.

For many of you visiting, it may be the first time you have ever thought about the people, your neighbors, that respond to the fires, motor vehicle crashes and medical emergencies that happen every day.

What makes the Middlesex Fire Department such a valuable resource to the community is it's volunteers.

Our fire department is entirely volunteer. We are in a crisis! We are in need of new members. All you need is a desire to help a neighbor.
